The ski area Bressanone/ Plose offers you many facilities for winter sports: a total of 40 km of fun slopes, the opportunity to go on winter snowshoe hikes, the circular hiking trail Woody Walk, which is suitable for families, the 10-km toboggan run RudiRun or simply enjoying the incredibly beautiful mountain panorama. Winter fun, Dolomites and fresh air, Tyrolean Schlutzkrapfen or dumplings, sunny and large terraces in front of the alpine huts, a good ambiance and pure winter fun – this is what an ideal vacation day looks like! The Plose Nights offer a special experience: you may hike high above Bressanone at night and have dinner in one of the participating alpine huts. Watch and marvel at the city lights of Bressanone!

The farm Stillehof is also an ideal starting point for your activities. Starting directly from the farm, you may embark on beautiful winter hikes in the mountains. The alpine lodge Klausener Hütte is a great destination for a family excursion: great views, good food and tobogganing fun guaranteed.
Bressanone
an enchanting town with Christmas charm
The Isarco Valley is particularly beautiful in the winter. The alpine magic of Christmas then extends into the valleys, where you may visit the Christmas markets of our region. You will experience a very special ambience at the Christmas market in Bressanone. The historic cathedral square of Bressanone, with its baroque backdrop, is the ideal place for a cozy get-together and some Christmas spirit. Traditional artisanship, typical culinary delicacies and bright lights will make the experience truly perfect.
Things will get romantic when you cuddle up in blankets in the evening after a visit to the Christmas market and enjoy the scent of Advent and the crackling of the fire in our outdoor fireplace.

” …. and it’s truly necessary that someone discovers the beautiful and interesting things in this world.” This is the wonderful attitude of dear Pipi Longstocking, with which our great-grandfather probably also went through the world with open eyes. This may explain why he found a menhir stone near the farm that is shrouded in legend and dates from the Bronze Age (2000 BC). Menhir means ‘long stone’ and our menhir stone is now in the Museum of Prehistory in the Castle Tyrol. There are many more cultural highlights to explore in South Tyrol and in the immediate vicinity, such as the Castle Velturno, the museum in the Episcopal Palace in Bressanone, or the historic Cloister at the cathedral. Children particularly love the glacier mummy Ötzi in the Natural History Museum in Bolzano.
